Last Day of Ocean Week information

Dear Edison Families,

We have had an amazing Ocean Week thus far, and now it’s time for our final day of learning and fun!  You are welcome to join us for our Hat Parade and Family Beach Picnic.  Please see below for more information.

• Friday, May 24th, 8:45 - 9:30 a.m. - Hat Parade and Sing Along (Location: Hat Parade throughout school, outside in back, and end up in Gym for Sing Along): Parents are welcome to the hat parade portion at the back of the school.

• Friday, May 24th, 11:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. - Family “Beach” Picnic (Location:  Outside on hardscaped areas weather permitting).  Parents/Families  are encouraged to attend with picnic blankets and their own lunches (enter from the side gates (east and west sides).  Our Cafeteria will be serving up hamburgers/veggie burgers and all the trimmings for students.  Lunch times will be slightly extended and overlapping (eating time is typically 20 minutes and recess is another 20 minutes).

• First Grade -   11:00 a.m.

• Second Grade -   11:15 a.m.

• Kindergarten - 11:35 a.m.

• Third Grade - 11:55 a.m.

• Fourth Grade - 12:15 p.m.

• Fifth Grade - 12:35 p.m.
